The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has lifted the suspension on the collection of the Universal Charge – Environmental Charge (UC-EC) at PhP 0.0025/kWh. This measure ensures continued funding for watershed management and rehabilitation by NPC.
This means that TIELCO will resume collection of the UC-EC from customers’ bills at PhP 0.0025/kWh and remit it to NPC as mandated. Customer notices should be updated to reflect this change.
