With the initiative of the LGU of Odiongan, Vice Mayor Butchoy Arevalo convened a meeting with various telecommunications service providers to address the growing concern over scattered and tangled wires throughout the municipality. Together with TIELCO, and the representatives of PMT, PLDT, OTELCO, CatV, Globe-Innove, Star Cable, and private cable operators participated in the discussion to find a long-term and coordinated solution to this issue.
The meeting focused on advancing the Joint Pole Agreement, which aims to implement the clustering of all overhead wires in Odiongan. This project is a proactive step toward enhancing public safety, minimizing potential hazards, and improving the overall look of the townβultimately creating a cleaner, safer, and more organized environment for everyone in the community.
