The Tablas Island Electric Cooperative, Inc. (TIELCO) encourages all Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) and the general public to report any form of illegal electric connection. Verified reports may be eligible for a cash reward.

πŸ“ Report immediately to the Office of the General Manager.

⚑ Electricity theft is a crime under Republic Act 7832 (Anti-Electricity and Electric Transmission Lines/Materials Pilferage Act of 1994).
Prohibited acts include:

  • 🚫 Direct tapping (connecting directly to power lines)

  • 🚫 Flying connections (connecting from one house to another)

  • 🚫 Use of magnets on electric meters

  • 🚫 Tampering or bypassing meters using jumpers

  • 🚫 Intentional meter damage

  • 🚫 Unauthorized reconnections after disconnection

  • 🚫 Theft or sale of TIELCO materials and equipment
