On February 21, 2025, TIELCO commemorated its 47th Foundation Day alongside TEMC’s 29th Annual General Assembly at Helenaz Beach Resort. The celebration started with Department Managers expressing their congratulations to TIELCO for achieving another remarkable milestone. Their words of appreciation highlighted the organization’s continued success and growth over the years.
Following the opening remarks, employees took part in various fun games designed to promote camaraderie and teamwork. The lively activities brought energy and excitement to the celebration, creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for everyone in attendance.
A major highlight of the celebration was the recognition of employees who have shown unwavering dedication to TIELCO over the years. Loyalty certificates were awarded to employees who have reached 10, 15, 20, and 25 years of service, acknowledging their commitment and invaluable contributions to the cooperative’s mission. Their hard work has been instrumental in ensuring reliable and efficient electricity services for the people of Tablas Island.
Beyond the loyalty awards, TIELCO also honored outstanding employees with special recognition for their exemplary performance and dedication. These awards serve as a testament to the cooperative’s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, inspiring employees to continue delivering quality service to the community.
In the afternoon, the Annual General Membership Assembly (AGMA) commenced, with TEMC board members and committee representatives presenting financial reports and outlining future plans for the Cooperative. Members engaged in discussions regarding the presented reports, ensuring transparency and collaboration in decision-making. The session provided an opportunity for stakeholders to align on the organization’s goals and strategies for the coming year.
After deliberations, the meeting proceeded with the election of a new set of officers, marking an important transition for the Cooperative’s leadership. Once the formal proceedings concluded, the event wrapped up with a raffle draw for members, adding an element of excitement and appreciation.
