On March 21, 2025, Tablas Island Electric Cooperative, Inc. (TIELCO) proudly joined the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in celebrating the 2025 National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC). In partnership with the National Electrification Administration (NEA), this initiative honored the critical roles women play in our society, especially in the energy sector.

Guided by this year’s theme,
“𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒈 𝒏𝒂 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒎𝒂 𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒊𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈: 𝑴𝒂𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒑, 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒈, 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒏,”
the event celebrated the strength, leadership, and unwavering determination of women in traditionally male-dominated spaces. From linemen to engineers, doctors to educators, women continue to redefine boundaries and lead with excellence and compassion.

TIELCO remains steadfast in its commitment to gender equality and inclusivity. By acknowledging and uplifting the voices of women, the cooperative ensures that every woman is empowered to grow, lead, and contribute meaningfully to the workplace and the community.
