Finding ways to have fun and unwind outside of the routine workday is essential for building camaraderie and fostering a sense of community within any organization. TIELCO embodied this spirit on October 18, 2024, when it hosted a memorable Family Day and Team Building event held at Brgy. Bonlao Covered Court and Kampo Recudo Resort. Far from being just another family day event, TIELCO added a competitive twist to make the occasion even more engaging and enjoyable for its employees.
The event saw two teams, the 𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐒 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 and the 𝐘𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐒 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌, go head-to-head in a series of exciting activities that showcased both team spirit and individual talents. The festivities kicked off with energetic Yell Performances from both sides, filling the air with enthusiasm and competitive energy. To ensure a fair competition, TIELCO invited a panel of judges from Bonlao, consisting of 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐡 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬 – 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐝 𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬.
Following this, the teams participated in various sporting events that brought a wave of nostalgia to some employees, particularly those who had been athletes in their youth. These friendly competitions not only revived the competitive fire in the participants but also allowed them to bond with colleagues in an environment that was both fun and light-hearted. The event concluded with a lively TikTok dance challenge, judge by a distinguished panel including 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐮 𝐆. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐨, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐡 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐅𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐦, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐝 𝐉𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧.
Creativity and enthusiasm took center stage. After a day filled with spirited competition, only one team could emerge victorious, and it was none other than the YELLOW WARRIORS who claimed the championship title.
Despite the competitive rivalry, the event fostered a sense of unity and teamwork. Every participant gave their best, and while the YELLOW WARRIORS took the title, the true victory lay in the collective effort and camaraderie. In the end, all participants take pride in being part of the TIELCO team. Congratulations to everyone for making the day a memorable success!
