The 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗡𝗘𝗔) has recently concluded the final inspection and formal acceptance of 10 sitios under 𝑺𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 within the coverage area of 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗜𝗻𝗰. Together with NEA representative 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗡𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘇𝗮 and the TIELCO team, this initiative involved a systematic visit to each area that benefited from the 𝑺𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎. The primary goal of the on-site inspection was to ensure that the electrical systems were installed correctly and functioning as intended. This achievement is not just a procedural milestone; it represents a tangible improvement in the everyday lives of the residents/beneficiary in these remote communities.

In addition to economic benefits, the availability of electricity plays a crucial role in enhancing educational opportunities. Moreover, the electrification of households allows children to study at night, which was previously limited by the lack of adequate lighting.

Overall, this electrification project aligns with the larger mission of the NEA, along with TIELCO, to extend electrical services to remote and underserved areas. By fostering progress in these sitios, this initiative is part of a broader national strategy aimed at reducing inequality and promoting inclusive development in rural areas. This not only improves the standard of living but also helps integrate these communities into the broader economic and social fabric of the country.
