The ceremonial contract signing with eighteen Electric Cooperatives on the Implementation of PCB Management Programs with Electric Cooperatives and Safe E-Waste Management was held today at Sedis Hotel Vertis North, Quezon City.

The event was spearheaded by top officials of DENR headed by DENR Undersecretaries Atty. Ignatius Rodriguez, Atty. Annaliza Teh, Atty. Jonas Leones ,Asec Gilbert Gonzales and other DENR ranking officials. Representatives from UNIDO, the International implementor of Toxic Waste disposal was also represented by its top officials. The National Electrification Administration( NEA) was represented by Deputy Administrator Engr.Ernesto Silvano Jr and Director Federico Villar, representing on behalf of Administrator Antonio Mariano Almeda. The electric cooperative attendees were represented by General Managers, PCOs and other officers.

TIELCO was represented by GM Dennis L. Alag and Engr. Jason Fortunato. GM Alag was one of the two selected speakers who shared the EC’s experience in the execution of their “PCB Implementation Plan”.
