A collaboration meeting was held today between TIELCO and SUWECO Engineers for Protective Device Coordination that aims to perfectly coordinate TIELCO reclosers with SUWECO Circuit breakers with the end goal of minimizing occurrence of total blackouts in the event that line faults are detected in any feeder line of TIELCO, so that only the affected line sections are isolated and not totally affecting the entire feeder system.

As experienced previously, total blackouts are occuring even on minimal fault occurrence because the installed system protection of TIELCO and SUWECO are not perfectly coordinated.

The system management was discussed by Engr. Joshua Fernandez, engaged Technical Consultant both of TIELCO and SUWECO.
