A massive line clearing was undertaken today along Doña Trinidad to Marigondon Sur in the Municipality of San Andres to fully implement the requirements of the Anti-Obstruction of Power Lines Act or R.A. 11361 which allows electric distribution utilities to cut, prune or remove any obstructions within the designated distance of the Power Line Corridor whether these are vegetations or infrastructures.
The clearing activity in aforesaid area mainly focused on the clearing of vegetations and the TIELCO Team was joined by DENR Personnel who oversees that only trees within the power line corridor are to be cut.
