LOOK: TIELCO Management attended the Public Hearing conducted jointly by the Environmental Management Bureau of DENR MIMAROPA Regional Office and DPWH Regional Officials on the environmental impact of proposed conversion of Tablas Circumferential Road from two lanes to four lanes. GM Dennis L. Alag raised his concern on the possible problems that could be encountered in the acquisition of Right of Way intended for the relocated sites of affected distribution lines especially the cutting of vegetations along the newly designated Power Line Corridors. TIELCO estimated that at least 900 poles will be affected by the road widening program of goverment or 50 percent of the total installed poles in Tablas Circumferential road.
