TIELCOs Emergency Response Teams was activated early morning today by virtue of Office Order No. 24 Series of 2022 to take pre-emptive activities to deter the effects of Typhoon ” PAENG” in TIELCOs power distribution assets. As forecasted, the outer ring band of the typhoon is expected to bring heavy rains and strong winds in the next few days within the vicinity of Southern Luzon .

 

A meeting was held this morning among the technical personnel to composed the Emergency Response Team providing each team specific area assignments to augment existing Maintenance personnel.As initial pre-emptive activity, all teams were dispatched to undertake full clearing activities on critical points along the main backbone line.
