With the anticipated takeover of the generation function in Carabao Island by SUWECO Tablas Energy Corporation (STEC), TIELCO Management composed of General Manager Dennis L. Alag, Engineering Manager, Engr. Amante Jandoc Jr, Construction Manager Fred Siscar and Design Division Chief. Engr. Jason Fortunato, conducted an assessment visit of the work progress of the STEC Power Plant in Carabao Island and the ongoing construction of the 3 kilometer tie-line from Bgy. Busay to Poblacion San Jose which is being undertaken by TIELCO construction crew.

STEC is expected to commence operation in the island before December 25, 2022.
