Upon instruction of the Department of Energy (DOE) and the National Electrification Administration (NEA) as deputized agencies of the government to ensure uninterrupted power supply before, during and after the May 9, 2022 National and local elections, TIELCO among other electric cooperatives had created Task Force to be detailed in every municipalities under its jurisdiction to monitor electric supply before, during and after the conduct of the May 9 National and local election. These task forces are created to provide quick response service in the event that power supply problems are encountered relative to distribution line interruptions which is under TIELCOs jurisdiction.
