As part of TIELCOs continuing program to implement Republic Act 11361 or the Anti-Obstruction of Power Lines Act, a massive line clearing activity was undertaken last December 23, 2021 at Sitio Guba, Bgy. Guinbirayan in the Municipality of Sta. Fe, Romblon after the area has been identified with one of the most number of vegetation that impedes the normal flow of electricity, and been causing recurring line faults in Feeder 4.

Prior to the line clearing activity, the requirements of the law that includes securing permits from DENR and PCA was undertaken and the activity was also witnessed by these government agencies.

 

The line clearing activity will greatly benefit the end-users as these would minimize occurence of line faults brought along by vegetations touching the bare electric lines.
