The three man linemen dubbed as the “Warriors of Light”of Tablas Island Electric Cooperative, Inc. (TIELCO)in a simple send off ceremony will be departing today to join the contingent of the Association of Southern Tagalog Electric Cooperatives (ASTEC) composed of QUEZELCO 1, QUEZELCO 2, FLECO, BATELEC1, BATELEC 2, ORMECO, OMECO, TIELCO, ROMELCO, and BISELCO bound to Palawan to help in the power restoration effort in the franchise area of Palawan Electric Cooperative that was devastated by Super Typhoon Odette.

 

The TIELCO contingent is composed of Democrito M. Capillo Jr., Raymon F. Macaranas and Arturo C. Guirindula Jr.
