At 7:07 pm tonight a line fault was detected by recloser system putting off the entire Municipalities of Looc, Sta Fe and from Guinhiyaan Looc to Taboc, Alcantara. An attempt to restore electric supply at 7:13 pm, but the attempt was unsuccessful and fault current had been detected. After a number of minutes of line patrol, a dead bat that was electrocuted was retrieved at main distribution line at the boundary of Bgy. Balatucan and Buenavista, Looc that was determined to have caused the fault current.
As of 7:53 pm, power supply was restored to the affected areas.
