Thirty five (35) qualified indigent beneficiaries were selected to receive P3,000 cash assistance from the fund allocation of the Powerbloc Party list Congressmen of RECOBODA and APEC in Carabao Island, Romblon . The PANTAWID LIWANAG PROGRAM (Phase 3) electricity consumption subsidy was distributed to the selected indigent last Monday, June 7, 2021 by personnel of DSWD and TIELCO.
This is the third time that the program was implemented in TIELCO coverage area, the first two of which was made at the height of the pandemic last year and early this year benefiting more than 200 electricity lifeliners.
Aside from the Pantawid Liwanag subsidies that was downloaded by APEC and RECOBODA for TIELCO Member Consumer Owners,, it has also allocated funds for the TUPAD program under DOLE for which considerable number of displaced workers in the 10 Municipalities under TIELCO franchise benefitted.
