POWER SUPPLY UPDATE: June 2, 2021(10:35 AM)

With Romblon under Typhoon signal No. 2, and with TIELCO franchise area, currently battered with strong winds and heavy rains as the Typhoon is passing through its franchise area, only 85 percent of the municipality of Odiongan was re-energized, portion of San Andres and as of 10:14, a portion of the Municipality of Calatrava. Power restoration in other Municipalities had become more challenging because most of the main artery road are highly flooded and some distribution poles either collapsed or leaning.
Power restoration to some areas was also deferred as houses are flooded with potential risk associated with submerge live wires and outlets.
Photos shared by Odiongan MDRRMO , Brgy Dapawan and photos taken by TIELCO staff shows massive flooding along Bangon-Anahao. National Road, Poctoy National Road and Pob Ferrol. Some footage is also showing poles that about to collapse due to soil erosion.
