
As of 4:21PM yesterday (May 17,2021), TIELCO received a notification from SUWECO Tablas Energy Corporation (STEC) that the Genset No. 3 has experienced continuous leaking in the water pump weep hole, and as preventive measure, said unit was placed to preventive shutdown until repair is completed this week.
As a result, the dependable capacity of STEC was reduced to 8.6 MW, while the demand registered last night May 17 at 8:05PM is 8.569 MW. In the event that demand tonight would exceed 8.6 MW, the following area shall be subjected to load dropping:
