Officials of the Provincial Office of the Philippine Coconut Authority ( PCA) headed by its PCA Romblon Provincial Head Antipaz Naorbe and TIELCO OIC- General Manager Dennis L. Alag conducted a coordination meeting today on the salient provisions of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act 11361 otherwise known as Anti Obstruction of Power Lines Act. Among the important topics discussed was Rule V of the IRR which outlines the Trimming. Pruning ,Cutting or Clearing of Tall Growing Trees and Plants inside the Power Line Corridor and the salient requirements on the disposal of cut trees.
The meeting is geared towards the ongoing campaign of the electric cooperative to free its electrical lines of plants and structures that are deemed hazardous or impedes the free flow of electricity for public conveyance.
