With the recently release plant status update of SUWECO Tablas Energy Corporation (STEC), its latest dependable capacity remains at 7.5MW pending the full testing and commissioning of the two 1.1MW gensets that was installed yesterday May 2, 2021. The installation of its accessories, fuel pipelines and power cables are expected to be completed for operation at the earliest on Tuesday or Wednesday at the least.
With the recorded demand surge at 7.834MW at peak time yesterday night, an expected shortfall in supply is still to be experience until the two gensets will complement the required demand. As such, when the demand tonight at peak time will exceed 7.5MW, the following areas will be subjected to load dropping as follows:

Brgy. Madalag to Poblacion to Camili to Bagsik Alcantara
Estimated Time of Power ON:
Between 8:00 PM – 9:30 PM
