Rev. Fr. Romnick Sagun, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Candelaria Parish, Libertad, Odiongan. Officiated the blessing of Tielco’s newly acquired utility Boom Truck.

The new vehicle was sourced out in competitive bidding in a form of a commodity loan from the Rural Electrification Financing Corporation (REFC). The procurement is part of the 2016-2021 ERC approved Capital Expenditure Program (CAPEX) of TIELCO which is geared to enhance and improve the delivery of electric service to the EC’s Member-Consumer-Owners.

For various purposes, the utility truck could be utilized to transport electric post and related accessories in the conduct of line construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of distribution lines. It could also be utilized in pole and transformer mounting which would speed up construction and maintenance (rehabilitation) concerns.
